Frequently Asked Questions
A Life Coach is a professional who helps you clarify your goals and create a plan to achieve them. A coach will focus on your future, rather than dealing with the past. Through asking the right questions, a coach helps you find your path and supports you as you go from where you are now to where you want to be in your life. In contrast, a therapist often focuses on past hurts and trauma with an emphasis on healing and resolution of issues. Both are in the helping profession and are important for living life well.
Because life coaching is under the umbrella of education, it is illegal to accept insurance. However, I encourage parents to save their receipts as coaching is an educational tax deduction.
Finding Calm in a Chaotic World is payable upfront or offered in three monthly installments. Parents of little humans and teens receive an invoice on the 1st of each month for coaching services provided on the previous month. Payment is due by the 15th of each month. Many parents pay the invoice with their HSA account. P.S. Make sure the receipt is saved because coaching for little humans and teens is an educational tax deduction.
Finding Calm in a Chaotic World is a 12-week coaching program (60-minute sessions) with amazing results. Anxiety Coaching for little humans and ADHD Coaching (30-minute sessions) are dependent on their goals and their level of commitment to the process with amazing results as well. Many little humans have completed coaching in as little as eight weeks.
I offer video sessions via Zoom for college students and adults. Little humans have the opportunity for Zoom sessions, however, mom or dad must be present or close by.
